We'Ve Stopped Living

centered censored sequestered senses senselessly succumbing overload(ed) with fear/despair desperate(ly) casting thoughts to the wind, reeling them back in from where? they wind up did they ever begin to fathom fate is this life? put on hold we hesitate but minds run on what if? it may never come and we may go

I quite liked this quote, "Poetry is often mis-construed by the masses along with the intellectually handicapped" by Frederick Devine 1864

Ours is essentially a tragic age, so we refuse to take it tragically. The cataclysm has happened, we are among the ruins, we start to build up new little habitats, to have new little hopes. It is rather hard work: there is now no smooth road into the future: but we go round, or scramble over the obstacles. We’ve got to live, no matter how many skies have fallen." D.H.L.

We have to rebuild ourselves along with the world. Hopefully this brings us closer together.
