We'Re Just Borrowing

We take a couple of pens from work
  A blue one as well as a black
A pad of post-its too; who would know
  Anyway, someday we'll give it all back...

'Thou shalt not steal,' thunders a Voice
  Midst fire and smoke, trumpets and wonder
'100%,' comes the reply: 'We're just borrowing' 
  Without asking permission, Truth's torn asunder

Rico Leffanta May 2, 2021 at 12:14 PM I once fired an employee caught stealing a ream of copy paper; her excuse was that it was for god's work, i.e., her Sunday School students to use, but the Personnel Director also believed in god's work, so she was re-hired and transferred to another branch for the greater glory of god. What's not mine is not mine, and I have zero right to it. Cal me 'Mr. Black and White' (No Shades of Gray) when it comes to the Commandments 5 - 10. ~ B&W
