We'Re Getting Close To Christmas

We're Getting Close to Christmas

We're getting close to Christmas
It's just two weeks away
The angels are rehearsing
Their songs to sing and play

Of Jesus who was born that night
Beneath the guiding star
Sent by God to save us
No matter who we are

If we believe he came for us
That he was our Lord on earth
Came to atone for us our sins
It was the reason for his birth

Then we should sing and celebrate
Join the angels with our voice
Praise the Lord on Christmas Day
Look to the heavens and rejoice
