We'Re Different

Our love languages aren't the same

hell it seems emotionally

we're on a different wave length

what's second nature to me

isn't even important to you

after all this time has passed

what am I to do?

Accepting who you are and who I'm not

seems like the first step

I thought relationships were about

loving on each other

or was that just my perception

this is all on me, you weren't the one

with the deception

I just refused to understand what I knew was factual

and despite all the warning signs

you were still the one I gravitated to...foolish
