Wems Henry Temmy Psalm 33

Till I only hear the echoes of the drum
I used to find its rhythm solemn
Forgive the mornings that made Africans' nights, deportee
From whence as slaves, first citizen was once guarantee
Taken away far the 7, 14, 21 seas
And overtaken consistent troubles that never cease
Forgive their raging goodness for us in clumsiness
No one else can, if not You who owns forgiveness
Mercy is for both repentance and joy
After all, we enjoy being a schoolboy

Till my legs couldn't rhyme to the dance
I have always listen to the brilliant elders
How much is supposed period of caution
Learning to taking heed in adaptation
Growing up so fast in accustomed drill
Every generation enjoys with cool chill
Forgive the sneaker which heats my feet
Though twerking is awesomely sweet
They have brought us nice evil
Yet they remain the blind devil

Till loyalty isn't in the whispering of their chants
I have no one else as my darling confidants
John is going through a lot but keeps praying
He would have shared with you but thy face is preying
When exactly will time surely heal the mind
That had been great cum civilization bind
Forgive colonialism; they meant to keep us suffering
But growing up so well keeps buffering
For their hands are ever on our necks
A bit of cool massage teaching us how to sign Cheques

Till their hooves no longer pound on the plain
Truthful birds were they, prophesying rain
Come the seasons greetings that never hit the ground
That farmers' harvest troubles to abound
Death lives on our land as gods of wonders
Ones of great prowess not off blunders
Forgive the needful fertilizers that fail
Which set pace in first trial and prevail
Overnight over our weapons of abundance
Replaced by our open eyes' cognizance

The moon stating time to plant the grain
Gearing up for the next fluids before drain
To win the lottery of land's struggle for easement
When you get the deity's best appeasement
The check for testing purposes of land for usage
Claimed to buy time as testing is salvage
But getting going through testing unveil
The clear coat covering coal long in jail
Probably wouldn't have grant freedom
If it was long known, the coat of arms and anthem

Till my ear are heavy to our tales told under the moon
Coping with westernization comes easily soon
How moon comes dream and conference hail storm
From the usual peaceful brainstorm
To the disappearing mesh in the house
How confusions makes the house leader appear in blouse
Forgive the past empire well entrenched
Without any documentary yet easily clenched
Forgive the story of shameless elders
Who claim they are Nigeria peace welders

Till brevity quit my passion of history told around the fire
Strengthening passionate heritage's desire
Agbádá has been my best outfit for years
Before suits fits better on filming global premiers
Ifá has always hold the general campaign for each party's candidate
That no matter how tough, vow makes everyone accept the validate
Forgive the rigging and violence elections bring
How many more atrocities get to spring

I will follow up the breeze
But when the clouds conspire with the skies at ease
That the only fear is losing your worth
And not your expiring regime binded seat
To the innumerable citizens dying mysterious death
In order to salvage title the second time without defeat
Forgive our open mind not mature enough
And place humanity on check so tough
Yet we have to blame no one else for it
Colonialism is such an endangered hit

The lion warns other animals of dreadful days
Bought us into Christianity; consuming fire comes ablaze
To the Father, we accord our lives protection
Though enormous is treatment based on complexion
Yet, Christ they claim died for all arid colour
But in act, everyone remains a fiddler
Forgive those that don't make the change counts
Still, we contend to climb the ladder it mounts
Sharing rage in laughing den
Meeting to iron peace with pen

The cool sun speaks of strength
No one measures it's accurate length
Their coming showed up at the hill
Was thought to be seen of harmless will
To win struggles with us to the whole
Clipping to cross the unrepentant soul
Forgive those whose influence was true
That our own inclusion makes it turned blue
The true ones that are born noble for our sake
But we have been the reason behind our ache

It is only till eagle's eyes can't see
The depth of the deepest flowing sea
That my eyes will be closed at my dying culture
Till timing is never of preys to the vulture
From the sky that we have been seen
And makes our land peacefully green
Then, I will try out my hands on piano
Singing aloud at top voice, mind's brio
As per luck, my bird will heave a mournful sigh
And chirps that I had given up on flying high
