Well Done

Well done If you can’t do what you love Then love what you do This may sound rather cheesy But nonetheless it’s true Not every job that should be done Will have the same attraction And then again not every job Will promise satisfaction However fancy it may be However high the pay Still this is not a guarantee That it will make your day A job must have real purpose Be it fancy, fine or strange And what makes it important Is when it brings about real change When it serves the greater multitude Be it the rich or poor When it lays a bridge for progress Or creates an open door And bridges make connections As doors lead to what is new And new things create new chances Be it many or just a few And new chances bring new blessings And when counted one by one Each blessing shows the value of A job well done.
