Taking for granted, boons on us bestowed,
ego consciousness builds its own domain,
birthing delusion unless thoughts are stowed.
Erst fears and desires, when to rest are lain,
alignment with love, cleanses soul of stain.
The way is simple to meld head with heart,
deeming all beings one, with none apart,
a view contrary to our ego urge,
yet oh dear pilgrim, if we choose to start,
in timeless time, our soul with God does merge.
