Welcome to the world
Of I don’t want to hear
Ignoring your problems
Ignoring your fear
You think that they care
And will be there for you
Reality is
They don’t have a clue
They have their own world
And that’s where they’ll stay
You can’t count on them
Its better this way
You shouldn’t depend
On others you know
Your life is your own
And one day you will grow
Grow into the woman
You’d thought you would be
It’s really quite easy
One day you will see
What life has to offer
I will one day see
I’m better than this
I’m all I can be
