Welcome To the Faerie Jump

Welcome to the annual faerie jump
Where the faeries go to show out and up
Some of them glide
Others slide
Two or three tend to dodge and hide

The faerie jump is a way to show off and out
The butterflies come around, to listen to them shout
As they dangle precariously from a dandelion’s stem
An elf is here
Who invited him?
