Welcome Change
We welcome change
For better days
When storms of rain
Or scorching rays
Come down on us;
With more, not less,
Love and trust,
And happiness.
We welcome change
When worse comes ‘round;
We want what’s plain
To be profound.
We want our lives
And times to show
How weathered fights
Has helped us grow.
We welcome change
When things are bad;
We want the same
When things are sad.
We want to soothe
All that we could;
We should improve
On what is good.
