Welcome

A bulging mound glowing bright
That is filled with a tiny sprite
Created within a loving embrace
And gifted from lady lucks grace

Loves face is a mask of pain
Bead of sweat show the strain
Dark words now bellow forth
But we can show no remorse

Through the pain pervades a joy
Is it a girl or is it a boy
The struggle was infused with light
Like it was an angel’s delight

Coming forth into this world
The little being was finally hurled
Into a caring loving embrace
It finally ended its long race

With eyes so bright and twinkling
And a tiny voice that was tinkling
My son at last came into my years
Into my arms amid happy tears
