WEIGHT OF CHOICES

Moral values ingrained in one's roots,
Silence, prudent answer to forbidden pursuits.
Is it right or merely an act of people - pleaser's grin?
Inner conflict ponders the teachings that lie within.

A brimming age-old dilemma,
Caught in the tug of will and traditional schema.
In the complexity, we lay dictations;
Quest for validation, only a fiction.
