Heavenly realm of the weeping willow, Its eyes dare not shed a tear of sorrow. Arms down, it stands, with solemn grace, As the wind of rumor caresses its face. Beneath its branches, green leaves sway, As if to beckon life's display, A silent observer, it stands strong, Watching the world as it moves along. Heavenly realm of the weeping willow, It sees the joy and hears the sighs slow. But no tears fell from its gentle gaze. For it knows the secrets of life's maze. A refuge for the weary soul, The willow's wisdom takes its toll. Oh, friends, please listen to its call. For in its branches, truth does sprawl. Though no tears fall, their presence is felt. As it watches life, its heart does melt. In its stillness, it finds its peace. And in its silence, it finds release.

I love willow trees. Silently standing, leaves on branches touching land, leaves singing song in mild wind, what a sight! Nice poem,

Almost lost it reading this one. 1st, i have been getting Very spiritually close to trees They want to share w/receptive spirits. Here it feels like you’ve connected w/ Willows. I see them rarely here. Alwaysbthought them special. Their leaves on thise haging brabches coukd well hold secrets: to me look like “(leaf)waterfalls of tears”…kind of feel like that too. Beauties. Thank you 4 this!

Lovely descriptive poem, my friend: Beneath its branches, green leaves sway, As if to beckon life's display, A silent observer, it stands strong--so well written!

Very expressively describes the beauty of a weeping willow planted close to a stream where it can get adequate water. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara

Your personificstion of the willow standing, watching all, eternally wise, seeing life through its gentle gaze is magnificent. Its silence epitimises wisdom, not unfeeling, yet not crying. A masterful poem seeking attention for the mighty willow. So well done! A favourite !

You've humanized the tree pretty much. I like the fact that you wrote a rhyming poem for this one.
