Can I tell you a story about the stars? From the day they chose to burn their skins to light up our skies To the day they’ll leave our forgotten sky for a place much high A place they can remain cool as ice and still twinkle their cutest lights A place they’ll be treated as queens and needeth not fight the street lights to win the busy stare of human eyes A place they needeth not share their sky with the stylish moon nor the showy sun to ply their selfless plan And so they will, all one day at our wake be far from nigh
