The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Weeping Earth

I watch as Mother Earth dies
And all her animal spirits cry
The polar ice caps melting away
And no one is making a stay
Wake up people and look around
Our Government is poisoning the ground
Our People both young and old
Are Dying from cancer's and will never be told
The air,water,and food we eat
Is Slowing our regular heart beats
And then we all tremble with fear
When a natural disaster appears
It's mother trying to balance her land
And it's time we take her hand

Hi Jessica, I really liked what is being conveyed here. I think you are right, people do need to wake up about many things, most especially the fact that we are hell bent on destruction! Great write!

This poem must awaken the world from deep slumber. In the name of science and technology we are desecrating Mother Earth and making her the womb of hell. Excellent poem.
