Jan, I enjoy my weekends (providing I'm relaxing). It seems like some days never end though, because I'm doing housework and cooking every day. I need a change. Well done. :O) Keep up with the great work. Keep on penning. Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful and creative talents with us. We all truly appreciate it. *S* Cynthia

Indeed, especially that final line. The poem nicely captures the elation and the ephemeral quality of the weekend. So much anticipation, yet so much dread, lol, nicely done and I thank you for sharing.
