Wednesday Afternoon
Every Wednesday, standing outside
I nearly broke down and cried
Seeing her pass on by
Taking her own baby to die
No there’s nothing I can do
Not even telling her what’s true
Or how they have continually lied
Because I’m just standing outside
Some walking in with their parents
Driving up in a Mercedes Benz
Saying don’t worry all will be right
We'll go out for dinner later on tonight
Thinking, as I’m standing across the street
Maybe one day we will meet
With my baby tucked under my arm
Protected from any such harm
Yeah when your standing over here
The view is oh so clear
Maybe you should come over and see
And just let that poor baby be!
