Wedding Anniversaries

Celebrating fifty years
since her wedding day;
knowing someday Mistress Death
will steal her love away.

Crying, trying to forget
making vows in church;
loving hubby was untrue
and left her in the lurch.

Great writing as always, Jack. Short and to the point! You've come a long way my friend. Time and prayers bring healing and you'll be rewarded for your loyalty and faithfulness, for sure. Love, xxAnnalise

We rue, regret and can't forget mistakes that cost us love. 30 years is not enough without help from above. The moments where we alomost quit, bless us with tomorrow. And when that sun finally comes out it eases that deep sorrow. Peace Jack. :)
