Weather the Storm

Weather the storm..... The teardrops on my pillow, Seem to glare against the window, As I think about the times I could have done you wrong... If faithfuls just a notion, That runs rampid like the ocean, Then I should have known that you were cheating all along... I didn't wanna believe, I thought it wouldn't happen to me, But I have to weather the storm, After seeing you in someone else's arms, ( I want to be right by you ) ( but you don't see what I do ) ( don't look for me cuz I'm thru ) ( now that you're free I'm gonna weather the storm )... I wake up from this nightmare, Just to lay alone as I stare, At the pictures that are slowly coming off the wall... I put away the ring you gave me, After all the misbehaving, Changed my number so you never have to call... I didn't wanna believe, Maybe I was too blind to see, Now I know I have to move on, Leaving you behind to weather your own storm... ( I used to be part of you ) ( and now I need my heart too ) ( it won't be me you lie to ) ( now that I'm free I'm going to weather the storm ).. Maybe if I pass the time, I can get you off my mind, I know that you can't honestly, Deliver what was promised me... Now that I am on my own, My heart is looking for a home, I'm never falling for the act, Pretending that you want me back....

Wow, Terrence..I enjoyed reading this as I and so many others can relate. I think this is a Narrative form. Wishing you blessings, peace and joy this holy season. Be strong and know that there is a "tomorrow". Always, Audrey
