Wear That Coat
Wear the coat of kindness each and every day
Ease the heart of others with a kind word or deed
Abandon not your God and pray for all your needs
Remember to be fair in life and always share a slice
The world is often cruel and that is why we're scared
Hold the hand that trembles and do it all for love
Acquaint yourself to life forgive each slight and wrong
Truth be told we only got one chance to do it right
Count your blessings every day, own a grateful heart
Offer up your sufferings they're only full in part
Accept your misgivings, but all your talents too
Take the best out of your day, leave the rest behind.
