Wealthy Waters
Wura woke up into a world
so weary and worthless,
in a home that has got no
hand for the helpless,
he has nothing to hold
unto, so he remained
hopeless,
one day he forfieted his
family for being faithless.
His mother got mad at him,
yet he grew more mindless,
He was sent to vibrant
village, he was still
visionless,
he kept running, but
resentments made him
restless
Iyaniwura his graceful
grandma never grew
graceless,
she tutored him to be
truthful, tender and
tiredless,
knowing that his notion of
being a nonentity is
needless,
still he choose not to
change from being
cheerless,
his challenge choked him
and made him charmless,
on a fateful day, he found a
flower so flawless,
she shook off the shield
that makes him feel
shameless,
he got a trainer who took
him to a tower that is
timeless,
He came through that his
thoughts were thankless
so he left his lovely little fish
called loneliness,
forgot all his failures and
found a feet that is fearless,
prepared to proper, he
stopped being purposeless.
Some barriers made him
bow yet he was boundless,
He stood strong and
remained steady and
stainless;
at last, he was exalted and
his excellence was endless.
