Weak Spots Iii

Warmed fingers on cold shoulders
A slow wrap of arms behind
Soft exhalations
Tailed by disclosures unrehearsed

Being drawn into a haunting tale
The scent of peppermint on the breath
An idea acknowledged, commended, valued
Tears of joy having yet to fall

The soft demand of “tell me,”
After copious hope to speak
A phone call in the dead of night
Dancing close in the shadows

Adventurous beckoning—a dare!
Secret exchanges in a crowded room
A teasing smile after a blunder
A departure filled with laughter

** Feeling a series coming on. (: Much love, happy holidays to all.
 Love always, Laura

Keep feeling the series coming on. Because they are very good!!! For me, I'd probably just label these something simplistic like "my favorite things" but you are so poetic doing them as "weak spots" Wonderful, Laura.

Laura, your most recent one in this series gives me the sense of anticipation. The excitement of what's to come, waiting for the release of intense emotions. I've enjoyed your series.

I was going to include in my comments that this could (should) be continued..."unfinished business" so to say -- but you already beat me to it! Look forward to the next part. Hope you had a lovely Christmas, Laura; allow me to wish you all the very best for the New Year! My very warmest regards! :) john
