We Win

democrats, take a deep breath
thats the smell of victory
look over your shoulder
that's the past behind you
in front of you is the future
and it's a virgins birth
that you have to believe in
reach out and build a bridge
not a wall
plant food instead of weapons
build instead of destroy
believe instead of denigh
it's a shame that we have the
question "why"
because without it we wouldn't
have the lie that started this whole mess

This is a very clever piece, John, if only this will be so. But you have grown a bud of hope here, those "changes" won't happen overnight, but they will be appreciated more when one can watch their growth. Love this: "reach out and build a bridge, not a wall". A bridge is much sweeter, a wall might obstruct the view of what's happening.:) God bless you and yours..wishing you the best! Mikki

John, You speak the truth and you have outlined the plan, namely that we are all one, a family, a species, a brotherhood. World Peace is the goal and our spirits are soaring with hope. I look forward to the end of the 2 party wars and the union of our children who have spoken in this election. peace to you always, John, love, Karen
