We Will Rise

We have sunken to an all time low, And the enemy has dealt us a deadly blow. Our heads are bowed as we mourn in silence, But we will rise again as they face the consequence. The answers that we seek lie within us all, And though broken in a million pieces we must stand tall. We are outnumbered and are no longer united as one, But we will rise again to be champions of this great nation. We have been oppressed and suppressed as we speak the truth, They have robbed us of our dignity and confused our youth . Like a shameful dog we have turned away with a heavy sigh, But we will rise again as a stronger nation with our heads held high. The indomitable fighting spirit of our ancestors run through our vein, We are a nation of great fortitude and we can endure unbearable pain. We may be far outnumbered and the odds against us may be great, But we will rise again as failure will never be our fate. We must unite to make a change in our society, We must realize here and now that greatness is our destiny. If we change our mindset and vow to accept nothing less than the best , We will rise again and achieve far more than all the rest. Let us do more than dream of a better tomorrow for our nation, Let us find that strength from deep within to change our situation. Alone we can do so little but together we can do the impossible now, Let us rise together with renewed hope as each citizen makes a vow. It will not be by mere chance that we will rise and achieve all that we can, We must work together to rid crime and violence from our land . If we fail to see how the actions of one will impact us all, Then we will never rise but continue to fall. Let us now with a strong resolve far and wide, Stand tall with helds held high with pride. That no matter what comes our way we will with one voice say, I will rise, you will rise, we will rise as today is a new day.
