We Will Resist

We Will Resist April 27, 2016

We will resist, we are a nation free
You came to my country not me
You brought the planters you took our lands
Remember Bobby Sands
Shame on the invaders you have failed
You took our people, locked them in jail
You invaded my land and changed the rule
Go home to you invader, English fool
We will never be defeated, you never will rule
Ireland is free united as one
The children of our nation know the past
Killing our people, children's memories last
You created a monster, ignore Irish laws
We'll die with pride to defeat English laws
We will resist, we are a nation free
You came to my country not me
