We Who Rule the World

I offer you a precious gift
A treasure that's beyond compare
A golden dream you may reject
But when so close how could you dare
From now until the end of time
The earth the sky the stormy sea
And all dark creatures you may find
Will bend to you as they do me
We who rule the world
We who rule the world

The beating heart of all the world
A whirlwind dancing in your mind
A rush of Death's wings in your veins
And youth beyond the reach of time
Power over one and all
A kingdom reigning through all time
A never ending feast of life
All these things to give are mine
We who rule the world
We who rule the world

I give you now this endless night
A yearning for life's every spark
However brief to have some warmth
And light in your unending dark
Of all the wonders in this world
There's not a one you cannot see
Except the sun and those you loved
Lost now for all eternity
We who rule the world
We who rule the world
We who rule the world...
Are so lonely
