We Wasn'T Ready For You To Fly

First time I met you, I instantly made you smile, You laughed so much that day, Its like you haven't in a while, Each time you would came over, Your days started to become alot brighter, To where you was finally able to feel alive, And you didn't have to be a fighter, The connection that you and I shared, It was like we was ment to be together, Not like in a relationship but, We would be best friends forever, About a year ago around this time, Is when my life changed for the best, I got the privilege to meet Christina Grace, You help to keep my chin off my chest, Some days you would come over, I could see you wasn't having a good day, But spending just a few hours with me, Your smile started to take away the gray, I tried everyday to ease your stress, Prayed and prayed to remove your tears, Seeing you struggling was always hard, I hate that I only helped one of your years, I am still in shock on what just happened, My heart is crushed over the news I heard, God has call for you to go home, Now you are flying high like a pretty bird, I wish I could have done more for you, Help you to stay in our lives alot longer, But they say God only takes the best, Just wish you was here so I feel stronger, God I wasn't ready for Christina to fly, Everyone I know doesn't believe it's true, Least now all of your struggles are gone, Just know we are always going to love You!! RIP Christina Grace 5/4/19
