We Thank God
This year we survived hardships,
But we had no accident during trips,
There were no cases of locust thrips,
A sign that God protected our crops,
You are a living thing and not a corpse.
That's a blessing to thank God for.
Along the way we almost drowned,
But God saved us making us redefined,
We were broken by those we had pinned,
But that did not keep us undetermined,
He came through when we were burdened,
That's a blessing to thank God for.
The year was filled with strong tides,
But in God's arm is where our soul hides,
After learning that we plan but God decides,
Planning where to be when the year ends,
With your family and some trusted friends,
Is a real blessing to thank God for.
