We Shall Have Our Own Christmas Tree
We shall have our own Christmas tree the animals said.
Wait! Warned an opossum “We should consult Big Red!”
We need on one else’s opinion, replied a snippy raccoon.
We have snow, happiness, goodwill, and a nice round full moon.
Santa Claus crept up quietly, enjoying this peaceful scene.
Along with Big Red came December’s active snow queen.
They are so purposeful, the queen whispered to Red.
May it always be this peaceful, Santa Claus readily said.
