We Need Your Kingdom

O' Jehovah, it is to you we pray for the coming of your Kingdom each day. We pour out our hearts, even with tears as we persevere in these final years. We call to you from so many places to wipe the teardrops from our faces, to mend our hearts from broken pieces. From great despair, O' Father, release us. We need your Kingdom present on earth to which Heaven itself gave birth. We need your Kingdom to remove our pain and vindicate your sovereign name. We need your Kingdom to relinquish crime, to teach the world that your rule is prime. We need it to sooth little ones who cry, to show them that on you they can rely. We need your Kingdom to right all the wrongs and prove you knew what was right all along. We need it to demonstrate what truly is fair. Doubts and injustice will be cleared from the air. We need your Kingdom to feed those who are poor so starvation and malnutrition are no more. We need it to crush the gun and the bow so only the ways of peace we will know. For many reasons like these we pray “Let your Kingdom come” every day. We need your Kingdom, loyal and true. We wish to be ruled by Jesus and You. Chanté Walker November 7, 2024
