We Need To Fail

Failure ironically will define those that succeed and truly shine. Failure they say is success turned inside out, it’s nothing less! It’s people who through adversity failing with humble consistency who are not afraid to take a risk therefore, opportunities they whisk. Fail and fail and fail again, continue to fail because only then will you eventually succeed. It’s failure that you truly need.

Hello Ronald Thompson, there is a saying something like: When things go wrong Try,Try,Try Again. That is how a person succeeds. Have a nice day my friend. x Darlene .

You know, there are so many who swear by this, i.e., they succeeded only after they failed. Then there are those like me, who were virtually destroyed by failure... Yes I picked myself up, dusted myself off, and all that... Didn't help...I liken it to those who talk of how immigrants 100+ years ago succeeded without welfare and all that. Well, my grandparents failed miserably. Their lives were just one tragedy after another... I guess there's always another 'side to the story.' :) gw

I suppose the subject of success is subjective. I don't see success in terms of belongings or wealth but personal goals. Whether that be to obtain worldly goods or just to be a better person or even to just be healthy. I guess if your striving for something then you must not let failure deter you. I always wanted to write a book, I put it off for years then decided to do it. So many times I nearly gave up but kept at it. The books aren't great by any means but I did manage to achieve it. I'm currently on my 3rd book! In you I see a successful poet, a prolific one at that. All the best my friend. Ron
