We Look Another Way

When we fight trillion dollar wars a day
Abiding by laws of corruption without any say
When we need to confront our government,
We look the other way
CEO’s have get out of jail free cards
We trusted wallstreet with dollars to find them all retards
We saw this on the news and at the town meeting what did you say
Nothing, we didn’t leave our homes,
we looked the other way
Taxes sky rocketed a few months back
We hardly could afford necessities we lack
Gas reached 6 dollars a gallon we said hey its ok
Its just a 3 dollar difference to pay
We didn’t confront these issues
We just looked another way
America has slightly slipped and economically took a dip
But we can bounce back because we’ve already taken this trip
When we use our influence and find the right words to say
We won’t look another way, will then begin to build a future of a brighter day

Yes! We need lots of this sort of writing. You and Vince Suzadale. If you don't know him, look him up. Thanks for reading my stuff. Love, daver
