We Have the Right

We Have the Right
By Franklin Price
5/13/2016

We have the right
from beginning to end
For ourselves to find happiness
Throughout life my friend

If we help one another
It seems very clear
We begin to find happiness
For all of us here

If we give to each other
As is needed by each
To support or impede
To learn or to teach

To choose to do nothing
Always deem what is best
There are times to take action
Or to give it a rest

We're never alone
Unless we choose to be
That's what friendship's about
At least that's what I see
