We Don'T Have Forever

WE DON’T HAVE FOREVER by Bob Welch October 23, 2015 “I’m sorry to have to tell you this”, is how it all began. These words that fell upon us like a damp and chilling rain. So we need to live the best we can for all that time allows, ‘Cause we don’t have forever; we’ve only got right now. The saddest part is knowing that there’s nothing to be done, But giving God the glory for the battle to be won. No special cure; no miracles, just faith to carry on. Knowing that you’ll always have His arms to lean upon. We won’t have forever, to see our dreams come true. We’ve only got a little while to do what we want to. Today is all that’s left for us; we’ll make it last somehow. ‘Cause we don’t have forever; we’ve only got right now.
