We Can Try

It's hard to think things trough
Some nights i even cry
Most of me doesn't have a clue
Not even a question why

All I've wanted is an easy life
Some-one to love me for who i am
Then sure enough i'd become a wife
To a loving caring man

I know i'm young and shouldn't care
And i don't at times care what they say
Though it's not nice for them to stop and stare
It drives me more and more away

I'm fed up with how things stand
How they are between some
No-one asks for anyones hand
Or help from their best chum

It's not that hard just swallow your pride
Whats the worst they can say "no"
It's just one hell of a slippery slide
Start at the top and have a go.
