We Call On Him

We call on Him

We call on Him when not a thing we have to eat
We call on Him when clothes we have not to wear
We call on Him finances we cannot be beat
We call on Him when circumstance to our eye bring a tear
We call on him
We don’t ever call on Him when we prosper
Not even a sigh of relieve nor a whisper
When we stand witness to the sun as it rise
Not even then we call on Him to say thank you nor to recognize
We call on Him when it suites us best
When He calls on us, it’s like a bullet hitting a bulletproof vest
Yet He allows us to call on Him
So yes, We call on Him
We call on Him
