We Are the Song

we are the song
written over a lifetime
a fullness filling every corner
minutes harboring eons
treasures caught in neuropathways
bringing smiles from nowhere
but then again
you do that to me
without conscious thought in me
when entering a room
my eyes embrace you
as attentive to that face
as are the moons of Saturn
to their orbits in that heaven
we are the song
in the music of the spheres
