We are Spiritual Convicts Serving a Life Sentence
We're criminals from heaven, committing spiritual crime.
Disobeying the Creator with our body and mind.
His law was made plain to us right from the start.
Still if we allow Him, he'll write it on our hearts.
But I'd like to say, please keep this thought in mind.
The earth is a Rock and we're all doing time.
If we don't like what is said, we might just get mad.
God says "love and forgive" Pride says no! and that's sad.
He say's love your neighbor, that means everyone.
Loving only your race is how it's really done!
Give help to the widow and food to the poor.
Both of these people, most are sure to ignore.
Over the color of skin the people will fight.
We're all made from two people, let's get our hearts right!
We're all spiritual convicts, each doing time.
All serving a life sentence until judgement time.
God is Creator, Lawgiver and finally the Judge.
We better repent and change, because he will not budge.
Stop listening to people saying, "Do what you want to!"
Or else you'll be in hell, with them next to you.
Some look at this creation and say God is a lie.
They only can say this, but cannot explain why.
Rich or poor, we are all convicts doing time.
God say's Sin's the disease that's affecting our mind.
