We Are All Gods Children

I climbed from rags to riches
And excelled extremely well
I made a lot of money
And I lived to tell the tale

Now my life is over
I asked God how I done
He said he had a special love
Because I was his son

I opened every door for you
And even pathed your way
I watched you live your life
And I was with you every day

When you thought I wasn’t there
I was smiling at you son
And when you got married
I was dancing having fun

Even the children, I gave you
Were planned in every way
I created each, tiny soul
To help you on your way

I knew they’d bring you closer
And brighten up your life
I knew you’d love them dearly
And, I even knew your wife

You’re a very precious child
I hold dear, to my heart
Crafted by my hands
From the very start

I’m glad to have you home
You’re a blessing to me son
Now please, go have a roam
Why, I welcome the next one!
