Waves
I ride the rolling, curling waves
Hoping for a miracle that saves
The losses I see, in the distance
From what is brewing, this instance
Somehow, sailors seem to be blind
To the shore they can’t seem to find
The waves get larger by the day
But I know what I see, on my way
The biggest hurdle, is unable to save
Many in trouble, maybe to their grave
The sun may keep shining, all around
But, what about pleading to be found?
These waves certainly will not stop
Learning to ride is like seeing a backdrop
Still finding a way in travels to have fun
Whatever the theme, a play has just begun
