Wave of Destruction

It was 26th December,
a day I will always remember
It was a bright sunny afternoon
and I was watching TV in my room
The sight of people crying caught me
and I heard the word TSUNAMI

I asked my family what is the matter
and they said it was an earthquake in water
India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Thailand,
there was destruction all over the land
Men, women and children, all were crying;
For the survivors all were trying

The Giant wave in the Sea,
all this was getting difficult for my eyes to see
World was watching,
Number of dead kept on increasing
I closed my eyes and said to God a Prayer
“Please help them, heal them and wipe off their tears”

Friends lets all contribute for the victims
Be it food, money, clothes or any other items
For the victims and the world it’s the time of sorrow
So lets contribute and help them see TOMMOROW
