Water's Edge
Boat floats at water's edge.
Frogs croak on a lily pad.
I'm glad I'm not a silly cad.
As boat floats down the stream.
Scream if you will as raft goes
Over the waterfall, call out. Shout!
Go about the fall and level it out.
Now boat floats gently down the stream.
Paddle, then saddle a horse for rest
Of the course. Of course there's the hike.
Strike a match, light a fire, desire a
Marshmellow or hot dog. Faithful dog by
The fire desires food. Rude is it not to
Give him a bite without a fight. Horses
Rest. They gave their best. Now it's time
To go home and roam another day by water's edge.
