Notes About The Poem

How to Cut Watermelon (The Easy Way!) | Taste of Home

Watermelon

Whopping big or small sized -
With inside red flesh of
Wonderful sweetness, this
Weighty fruit’s percent of
Water is ninety-two!
Wow! That’s great hydration.
Wish I had some right now.

Definitely a whopping good Pleiades, Andrea! I love watermelons, and the seeds I planted not long ago have sprouted; I have to make sure my tortoise won't go after them!! Regards // paul

Ninety-two percent water; thanks for the fun fact. No wonder it's called "watermelon." This flows nicely. Congratulations!

It's still a little early for the sweet ones but I do love me some watermelon. When I was a kid they were 4 for a dollar. Now they're anywhere from 6 dollars to 10 dollars each, depending on where you shop. A mouthwatering write, Andrea.
