Waterfall

Traveling alone
she gets lost within the trees
Forest now her home
nature's song puts her at ease
Following the stream
a place of peace she does recall
The cool sweet haven
behind that flowing waterfall
Her mind drifts away
and she takes her seat once more
Upon that same rock
as she's done many times before
Taking in the beauty
of the mountains grand and tall
She feels so very free
behind that flowing waterfall

Neatly constructed... nice consistent metrical flow and sweet content. Best wishes, Keith

I have never been behind a waterfall but the children have. I have pictures of them. Your poem sounds so peaceful. God Bless, Cile
