Watercolors

Teardrops on my lashes
clinging oh so tight
afraid of falling down
and melting on the ground.

So delicate and fragile
like each minute of the day
as a new one starts to form
the old ones fade away

Just a simple reminder
all the good that's kept inside
may someday go unspoken
as it's washed up in the tide.

As you feel your next tear slowly trickle
out of the corner of your eye
tell the ones around you
how important they are in this life.

Yes. So very true. It's the simple things. Always will be. Great lines, Jenny.
