Water Play

Water play.
Water play.
How do we play
By running and jumping through the water 
Sprinkler as it goes around 
While sitting on the ground.

Water play.
Water play 
How do we play?
In the water hose with a nozzle that 
Changes from a fine mist to a bold spray
That lands on our toes in a funny sort of way.

Water play.
Water play.
How do we play
On a slip and slide.
Oh! What a ride
On a piece of plastic through the grass we glide.

Water play.
Water Play.
How do we play
By getting wet with our squirt gun.
After which we dry in the sun.

Water play.
Water play.
How do we play?
There are so many ways.
Drop by on any given day.
You can join in the water fun and play.

Caren Krutsinger February 22, 2019 at 9:39 PM To entertain my 4-year-old grandson I let him run the hose for about an hour in the summer time. He finds lots of uses for it, believe me! It is the only thing I have found that entertains him for more than 3 minutes. Nicely done, my friend. Bette Bavington February 22, 2019 at 11:09 PM There are some I have let water the roses and the trees. Lol. It seems to me the water has a calming effect. I know after they have played in it almost all day my children were super tired. After bath, supper and story time which they fell asleep during my children slept real well all night.
