Water Is

A dripping, drizzling, falling drop,
Which hits the ground with a bouncing plop.

A rolling, flowing, surging force,
Which carves the land and runs its course.

A cooling, soothing, refreshing thing,
Which calms the soul and makes it sing.

A soaking, drenching, dousing substance,
Which engulfs the world's continents.

A sustaining, quenching, natural element,
Which fosters life and makes it relevent.

Water of love, deep in the ground. That's a Dire Straits lyric that your poem reminded me of. And so the pebbles thin and fall. As mountains answer rivers call. To filter heavens light and love. That rained down on from up above.
