Water Drop On Lotus Leaf

Dawn gale sprays water of the lake, shining pearls the rays of sun make out of water drops for time brief, not clinging to the lotus leaf. Lake water simmers in hot day, the drops dry up and fade away unattached in utmost relief, not clinging to the lotus leaf. Floating in troubled times of strife, into a lone leaf morphs your life, holds essence drop of your motif, not clinging to the lotus leaf. Like the water drop in sun light, you will shine in divine delight, soul will be free of mundane grief, not clinging to the lotus leaf. ______________ August 9, 2022 Syllable count : 8 per line (HMS) Contest : A Kyrielle About Water Sponsored by : Kim Rodrigues
