Water and Stone

In this place of Water and Stone,

Stone soothes the falls the Water takes,

takes Rivers' rages on alone,

alone he calms her when she wakes

Actually this was written for a contest where the poem had to be four lines, 8 syllables each, each line beginning with the last word of the line before it. I wrote a couple of them and found it fun but they sometimes come out kinda weird...
