Water and Stone

In this place of Water and Stone,

Stone soothes the falls the Water takes,

takes Rivers' rages on alone,

alone he calms her when she wakes

Ah yes...I see why it's got groove! Which is really how it should have been done. It's metaphorical too, right? Love the last line! Ok...time for some sillies...tell me what you think of my latest write, the limerick. Honest opinion please! :-)))

PS - they didn't have to rhyme but I thought that would add to the flow a little bit, so I did it anyway

Thank you, ABED. Actually this was written for a contest where the poem had to be four lines, 8 syllables each, each line beginning with the last word of the line before it. I wrote a couple of them and found it fun but they sometimes come out kinda weird...
