Water and Rain

(rhyme)


I love my water everyday 
It is healthy to drink 
Lots of it to consume 
Do it and don't think. 

I'm determined to have it 
All day and night long 
When awake all the time 
Water just makes me strong. 

Most people don't appreciate water 
We need to conserve it 
And not waste it anymore 
By squander it not a bit. 

In other countries some people 
Don't have enough of it 
We're so blessed we do 
Aid those with a bit. 

Water is great to drink 
It's good for you, me! 
Cleanses your body you know 
We all need it too. 

When it rains it's amazing 
It helps grow the trees 
And all animals and plants 
Maintain your body healthy too. 

Every living organism needs it 
Water is such a blessing 
Without it we'd be troubled 
Save it and keep sharing!

Danny Nunn September 25, 2009 at 3:24 AM I like this poem, so true..if people only knew what it like to work on a well in the NM desert that only pumped a gallon a minute or had to haul water...then they would know??? Thanks for the words on Mexican border..again if people only knew what really goes on here...Thanks Danny
